Integrating Dreamspace and Nature
Heart Song Arts is on a mission of love and innovation. If you were looking for Heart Song Ceramics or Greycattart then you've come to the right place. Heart Song Arts is a new merger between artists, Meg and Samuel Turner.
Meg and Samuel Turner, co-owners and facilitators are driven by their vision to integrate dream space with nature
in every piece of their work.
Meg Turner, a professional educator, herbalist and potter brings her visions to life through her beautiful porcelain and stoneware manifestations. Each piece is an integration of nature, her love of the natural world, and clay. Pottery is her greatest joy and release in an otherwise very busy world.
Samuel Turner is retired or so it is said. He is busier and happier now than he'd ever been in working life. Literally following his dreams and inspirations, he is a writer, painter, and potter. "One medium is never enough. Beauty is the goal but how I get there is in choosing the best medium to share where I am at the time."
Meg and Samuel have decided to take Heart Song Arts into professional arena. As members of the Oregon Potters Association they have begun showing locally in galleries and
in Arts Festivals throughout the Portland Metro Area.
Their vision is still to bring beauty and clay creations to an otherwise busy world.
In addition Meg is working on renewable dishware, as well as pieces that are pleasing to the eye. Other events with local clay artisans fills extra time as we focus our vision on sustainable practices that are earth-friendly. One step is to build a home studio, the first step in our dream of opening our wild space as a place of solitude for other artists.
